Vior’La System

The Vior’la System is a T’au Fire Caste sept in the Ultima Segmentum, centred on a world that orbits a binary star. Its principal planet trains the T’au Empire’s most aggressive Mont’ka cadres. The name Vior’la means “hot-blooded”.

Each year the principal world passes between its two suns, an event the T’au call the Trial by Fire, during which plasma storms sweep the planet. Pathfinders once lured an invading Ork force into these storms, where it was destroyed. A later World Eaters landing also failed, after Ethereals restored discipline among the Fire Warriors defending the sept.

The Vior’la System remains the Fire Caste’s principal training ground for aggressive warfare. It is a T’au sept, not an Imperial hive world, and it is distinct from Pech. Fan summaries place it under the Ultima Segmentum and do not classify it as a human border world.
