Arkos the Faithless

Arkos the Faithless, a Scion of Alpharius, commanded the Faithless warband from the battle barge Anarchy’s Heart. He raided the approaches to the Eye of Terror, wore loyalist armour when it served his purposes, and committed his forces to a conflict only once circumstances already favoured him.

During the siege of Vraks, Arkos passed through the lines of the Death Korps of Krieg disguised as a saviour and used Cardinal Xaphan as a figurehead. He summoned other warbands to the world and fought a duel with Azrael at the starport. When the siege required a new leader, he sold Cardinal Xaphan to Zhufor.

The Angels of Absolution destroyed Arkos’s battle barge and removed him from the citadel in chains, together with fourteen of his brothers. The remaining members of the Faithless survive only as a minor entry in the records of a Dark Angels cell.
