Necrosius the Undying was a Death Guard Apothecary until Nurgle boarded the fleet and made healing a joke. He dropped the narthecium for sorcery, pulled the first Apostles of Contagion out of the Legion, and left Mortarion's sons to preach plague at anyone in range, Imperial or Chaos.
Assassins and Ahriman have killed him on paper. He keeps turning up, which is how you earn the nickname. Vraks got the zombie tide and a sorcerer who treats corpses as a renewable workforce rather than a tragedy.
He is not Typhus and does not pretend to be. He is the reminder that the Death Guard's worst idea got its own church, and that church still makes house calls.
