Oltyx is a nomarch and king of Ithakas who died twice and, afflicted with the Flayer Curse, took the title Valgûl the Fallen Lord. Unnas exiled him to Sedh after a duel with his elder brother Djoseras. There he ruled a peripheral holding troubled by Ork raids and subminds.
Oltyx returned when an Imperial crusade began destroying the Ithakas dynasty, and he found his father already a Flayer wearing the crown. He then fled Antikef with the fleet, killed Mentep amid alarm over the Ghostwind, and banished Yenekh. He died a second time on the Akrops while the Angels Encarmine boarded.
Oltyx woke in orbit over Drazak already bearing the Flayer Curse. He adopted the title Valgûl the Fallen Lord and led the remnants of Ithakas to Drazak, a bone-world. The curse places him in the same condition as his subjects.
