Ithaka

Ithaka is the Iron Snakes' ocean homeworld in Segmentum Obscurus, the Cradle of Snakes whose reefs, waterborn clans, and kelp cities still tithe battle-brothers to Seydon's Chapter. It sits in its own named system rather than under a generic Obscurus dump.

Dan Abnett's Brothers of the Snake made the reefs famous: Island-towns, Waterborn pilots, and a Chapter that treats the sea as a second fortress-monastery. Recruits come from the water. Oaths come from the rock. Ithaka is not Ithacas the Necron dynasty and not a Mediterranean tourist pin.

Ithaka still matters as the Iron Snakes' wet home, which is why unofficial fan summaries keep the ithaka-system parent and the Cradle of Snakes alias. Do not file this row as Necron Antikef or as a random Tempestus ocean.
