Yenekh was the admiral of Ithakas, banished by Oltyx after the discovery that he kept Flayed Ones within the fleet while becoming one himself. Oltyx, a duellist, had entrusted him with Sedh and the Akrops. The curse of the Flayed improved Yenekh’s effectiveness as a killer but made his condition harder to conceal.
When Oltyx learned of the situation, he banished the admiral. Yenekh travelled to Drazak, the bone-world of the Flayed Ones, ahead of the wreckage. For an officer already undergoing the transformation, the world was not exile in the ordinary sense. He was present at Drazak when Oltyx awoke as Valgûl.
Some dynasties confine their Flayed Ones in oubliettes, or secure underground cells. Yenekh instead concealed them within the fleet’s order of battle and was ultimately numbered among them himself.
