Destruction of Cruor Vult on Miquol
Cruor Vult, a Chaos Warlord Titan, was destroyed on Miquol by Eisenhorn after Fayde Thuring awakened it on Durer’s polar island. Thuring had already murdered Midas Betancore, and the awakening of the Titan followed that killing. The Court of Examination declined to act against the machine. Eisenhorn then destroyed it through Cherubael, whom he held under his control. Cruor Vult fell on the ice of the polar island. Durer retained its standing as an agri-world, but the destruction left lasting damage there. Alizebeth Bequin stood with Eisenhorn’s party on Miquol when the inquisitors sought to channel her Blank null into Cruor Vult’s mind. The backlash gave her a catastrophic embolism; she was placed on life support with recovery not expected, and her death is recorded on Durer in 386.M41. Parallel Glaw hireling strikes then burned the Distaff on Messina and Spaeton House on Gudrun while she lay incapacitated, so she was not present at those burnings.
