Durer

Durer was an Ophidian agri-world where Eisenhorn left a Court of Examination to finish the heretic Fayde Thuring, killer of Midas Betancore. It belongs to the Ophidian neighbourhood of Scarus rather than to the Helican worlds proper.

The pursuit led to the polar island of Miquol. There Thuring woke the Chaos Warlord Titan Cruor Vult. Cherubael destroyed the engine at a point when Eisenhorn needed a monstrous instrument more than a lawful warrant.

Durer is significant chiefly as the setting of this confrontation, in which Eisenhorn set procedure aside in favour of Cherubael. Miquol is recorded as a child island of the world.
