Recovery of the Pontius
Eisenhorn recovered the Pontius crystal on Damask from House Glaw cabal survivors after the Saruthi dig collapsed. The device held the encoded mind of the heretic Pontius Glaw. Eisenhorn kept it, later hid it with Magos Bure on Cinchare, and spent decades treating the prisoner as both evidence and temptation. The recovery closed one Glaw plot and opened the longer war that ended only when Eisenhorn killed Pontius in a mechanical body on Ghül.
