Badab System

The Badab System is the Maelstrom Zone star system of the Badab War, a chain of worlds from which Lufgt Huron's Astral Claws tried to build a private empire. It sits in the Badab Sector of Ultima Segmentum, and the numbered planets Badab I through VII are the charted bones of that revolt.

Huron's tithe-refusal became a Chapter war, then a sector war, then the founding of the Red Corsairs. Loyalist Chapters spent years cracking this system's docks and hives; the Maelstrom next door made every void approach a gamble. Later maps still show a Badab well because the Corsairs' origin is a place, not only a flag.

The Badab System remains the cautionary pin for any Chapter that decides the Administratum is optional. Unofficial fan summaries keep the Badab Sector parent and do not collapse the numbered worlds into a single hive called Badab Primaris.
