Bonaventure

Bonaventure is an Imperial world of the Helican Sub-sector in Segmentum Obscurus, the birthplace of Alizebeth Bequin and Kara Swole. On the 40k Orrery sector map it is placed within the Bonaventure System, its parent location.

Wheel-tombs on the planetary surface are attributed to the pre-Imperial Saruthi. Eisenhorn’s warband drew two of its specialists from the world, and the remaining records concern Helican Sub-sector administration. Bonaventure is a separate location from Hubris, which is described as an ice-trap, and from Thracian Primaris, a hive capital.

Bonaventure retains its standing as the homeworld of Bequin and Swole within the setting associated with Eisenhorn. Unofficial summaries preserve the bonaventure-system parent and do not merge this entry with Hubris or Gudrun.
