Chemos System

The Chemos System is the Emperor's Children's lost mining star system in the Aquitaine Sector, a worn-out industrial well that Fulgrim rebuilt into a Legion seat and then lost. Two dim stars light a world that once exported art, chems, and pride in equal measure.

Fulgrim found Chemos exhausted and made it sing; the III Legion recruited here until Dark Angels and Custodes wrecked the system at the end of the Heresy. There is no living Emperor's Children fortress left in this well. Later maps treat Chemos as a cautionary ruin, not a 41st-millennium Chapter home.

The Chemos System still belongs on a Great Crusade chart because Fulgrim's culture was forged in these mines, not in later Eye-world palaces. Unofficial fan notes keep the Aquitaine parent and do not move the pin into the Eye of Terror.
