Cociaminus

Cociaminus is a Sabbat world in the Newfound Trailing, contested in successive Imperial campaigns until 773.M41. The world changed hands repeatedly, and its reconquest cost Slaydo and Macaroth more Imperial Guard personnel than the siege of Morlond.

Kelso and Forgues, employing Narmenian armour, took three hives in six months, but completing the first conquest required a further two years. Chaos retook the world after Balhaut. Imperial forces returned on three further occasions before the campaign of 773.M41 concluded the sequence.

The Munitorum, the administrative body of the Imperial Guard, gives a rough count of eight million dead. Cociaminus remains recorded in the Newfound Trailing, with a placement that spans both Segmentum Pacificus and Segmentum Tempestus.
