Colchis System

The Colchis System is Lorgar's lost desert theocracy in Segmentum Pacificus, the star system of a world three times Terra's size whose Covenant churches later turned to Chaos. Colchis was the XVII Legion's home until the Ultramarines cyclonic-torpedoed it after the Heresy and left a dead well on the chart.

Pilgrims, priests, and Word Bearers once filled this system; Kor Phaeron's old faith and Lorgar's later Lectitio Divinitatus both grew in the same dust. After the scouring there is no recruiting world here, only the memory of a desert empire that preached the Emperor into a god and then preached against him. The pin survives because the Word Bearers' origin is a place, not a fleet.

The Colchis System still matters on a Heresy map even though the planet is ash. Unofficial fan summaries keep the Pacificus placement and do not relocate Lorgar's home to the Maelstrom or Sicarus.
