Davin’s moon

Davin’s moon is the satellite of Davin where Eugen Temba, altered by Nurgle, gravely wounded Horus in an act that Erebus required. The body is described as dirty yellow in appearance.

Before the wound was inflicted, Loken and Torgaddon fought through a reanimated garrison on the moon in order to reach Horus. Temba, whose condition resulted from the influence of Nurgle, then delivered the injury to the Warmaster.

The moon’s standing is limited to this single event, the wounding that Erebus needed. The Serpent Lodge ritual that completed the Warmaster’s fall did not take place there: it was conducted on Davin itself.
