Dominicus Prime

Dominicus Prime is the holiest cardinal world of the Caradryad Sector, a shrine planet covered in monasteries in Segmentum Tempestus. It is a seat of the Ecclesiarchy. The name refers to this world alone, and not to any factory bearing the name Dominicus or to Ophelia VII.

Sisters, priests and pilgrims regard the planet’s crust as a reliquary. Later narratives use the name when they require a Caradryad altar rather than a convent oriented towards Terra. Dominicus Prime is distinct from the Convent Prioris, and from any later shrine world that has no sector attached.

Dominicus Prime remains the named holy world of the Caradryad Sector. Unofficial summaries retain the caradryad-sector parent and do not merge the location with Ophelia, with the convents of Terra, or with a generic cathedral-hive of the Segmentum Tempestus.
