Covenant is an Ordo Malleus inquisitor who treats other inquisitors as the main infestation. He is a psyker with a falchion, a psycannon, and a private war against daemonhosts built by colleagues who thought they were being clever.
Argento trained him, then tried to stuff the Emperor into a Living Saint. Covenant and Idris killed their master for it and took the rosette as a scar. He later pulled Ivixia Dannica out of a massacre and taught her the same unkind curriculum.
The Horusian Wars novels find him on Dominicus Prime with a tarot that says he is missing from the future. He still shows up to judge bishops anyway.
