Drechia

Drechia is an Imperial mining world whose galleries and ore-works supported a hinterland economy until Chaos cultists and Eldar raiders made the mines a battlefield. The surface settlements matter less in the surviving account than the tunnels beneath them, where Imperial Guard counter-insurgency met xenos and heretic alike.

Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Amberley Vail reached those tunnels through a Webway branch rather than by conventional drop, reuniting with Commissar Ciaphas Cain amid fighting already under way. The same Webway path that admitted her team also explained the Eldar’s unexpected axis of attack from the mine depths.

No firm galactic coordinates for Drechia are published beyond its place among the mining worlds of the subsector that also holds the forge world Ironfound; the pin is left unplaced pending better charts.
