Dulan
Dulan was the throneworld of the Faash during the Great Crusade and was captured by the Imperium at the end of the Dulan Campaign in 870.M30. No segmentum, sector, or galactic coordinates are firmly recorded for it. The name meant ‘Earth’ in the local language; the world was a red, rocky, hyper-industrial fortress planet with an atmosphere similar to Fenris and a great iron defence halo about its equator.
It was ruled by the Tyrant Durath from the Crimson Fortress until a joint assault by the Space Wolves under Leman Russ and the Dark Angels under Lion El’Jonson ended Faash resistance. The Lion slew Durath in the throne room; Russ, denied the kill he had claimed as a matter of honour, fought the Lion in a prolonged personal combat that founded the long feud between their Legions.
After compliance Dulan is recorded as an Imperial world. Its later administrative history is not attested in detail beside the campaign that brought it into the Imperium.
