Farness System

The Farness System is a Cadian Gate star system containing Farness Beta, where Quixos tried to replicate Cadia’s pylons and close the Eye of Terror. The system is charted at the mouth of the Cadian Gate.

Quixos, a radical, based the project on lessons taken from Cadia and used daemonhosts in the work. Eisenhorn’s cell followed the lead of Ravenor into the system and killed Quixos before the charged pylons completed their configuration. The attempt therefore ended before the pylons could take effect.

The Farness System remains significant as the parent location for Farness Beta. Unofficial summaries place it within the Cadian subsector and do not merge it with Cadia itself.
