Farness Beta

Farness Beta is a world near the Cadian Gate where Inquisitor Quixos attempted to reproduce Cadia-style pylons in order to constrain the Eye of Terror.

In the mid-41st millennium an Inquisitorial cell that included Gregor Eisenhorn, acting on intelligence attributed to Gideon Ravenor, assaulted Quixos’s mountain installation there. Quixos was killed before the pylon works were completed; resistance included his daemonhosts Cherubael and Prophaniti.

Farness Beta is distinct from Cadia. The unfinished pylons and the death of Quixos are the principal entries associated with the world in later Inquisitorial records.
