Ghosar Quintus

Ghosar Quintus is a mining planetoid in the Eastern Fringe of Ultima Segmentum, where the Imperium first encountered a Genestealer Cult in earnest. It is classed as a delver-world, a planet given over to excavation. It lies in the Ghosarian System of the Doctrex Sector and supported a population of some fifteen million.

The Trysst Dynasty presented itself as a model mining house until Inquisitor Chaegryn entered the Great Pit and transmitted a final all-clear. Kill Team Excis subsequently disappeared. A team hand-picked by Chaplain Cassius, which included Watch Captain Artemis, then fought through the Cult of the Four-Armed Emperor. Its operations established that the dynasty served as a front for the cult’s patriarch.

Ghosar Quintus retains its standing as the first cult scenario presented in Deathwatch Overkill. Unofficial summaries place it under Ultima Segmentum and treat it as distinct from Jendara Quintus, Arios Quintus, Josiah Quintus, and Hunt-for-Voldorius Quintus.
