Ghül
Ghül is a world of the uncharted system coded 5213X by the Imperium, lying months outside settled Imperial space in the Segmentum Obscurus. Imperial accounts identify it as the chief of seven worlds raised by a pre-Dawn daemon civilisation in honour of the fallen daemon-king Yssarile, whose mausoleum and barque underlie its principal ruins. The world is nearly invisible to ordinary visual scanning, appearing as a faint echo of matter against the starfield.
In the later 41st millennium the heretic Pontius Glaw came to Ghül seeking Yssarile’s barque. Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn pursued him there and killed him in the halls above the mausoleum, ending Glaw’s second life in a mechanical body. Eldar forces and Gideon Ravenor are also recorded among those drawn to the confrontation.
Ghül was subjected to Exterminatus in 392.M41. It remains unplaced on standard Imperial charts except under the 5213X designation, and is known chiefly for Yssarile’s tomb and for Glaw’s death.
