Kasr Sonnen

Kasr Sonnen is the third Cadian fortress world and, with Macharia, one of the last Imperial holdouts in the Cadian system after the Fall of Cadia.

Following the Fall of Cadia, Kasr Sonnen remained under Imperial control. Warp saturation, the intensified presence of warp energy in the region, did not result in the removal of the Imperial standard from the world.

Kasr Sonnen is a Gate fortress that continues to answer to the Aquila, the aquiline emblem of Imperial authority. In this respect it is distinguished from Cadia itself, which no longer serves as an Imperial fortress.
