Mackan

Mackan is the world where, in 811.M37, Abaddon’s Black Legion nearly destroyed the Blood Angels.

The Blood Angels had come to Mackan in full strength, accompanied by the Rampagers, but were met by Abaddon’s Black Legion in battle that brought the Chapter close to destruction. Abaddon himself killed the Blood Angels Captain Acrion in single combat. Telemachon Lyras and Iskandar Khayon were his lieutenants. Lheorvine Ukris was killed; Telemachon was not. Weeks later Reclusiarch Thalastian Jorus and the Death Company attacked and were struck down. They had killed many of the honour guard before they fell. Their bodies were afterwards left seated upon thrones made from the armour of the Chaos Space Marines they had slain. The Black Legion then withdrew from Mackan, and Abaddon took gene-seed from the Blood Angels dead.
