Telemachon Lyras
Captain of the 51st, Herald of the Warmaster, Lord of the Shrieking Masquerade
Also known as Telemachon Lyral, Herald of the Warmaster
Homeworld: Terra
Telemachon Lyras was a Terran Palatine Blade and captain of the Emperor’s Children 51st who later became a swordsman close to Abaddon. He leads a raptor host, the Shrieking Masquerade.
Lyras served in Eidolon’s honour guard at Ullanor. During the period in the Eye of Terror he acted as second to a warband that entered into conflict with Khayon, Kibre and Lheorvine Ukris. Khayon broke and remade him, and Lyras subsequently defected. At Harmony he assisted in killing a cloned Warmaster, and Abaddon rewarded him with shards of Sanguinius’s blade. Lyras forged these into a mask reproducing the face he had formerly worn.
Lyras fought in the Seventh Black Crusade on Mackan, alongside the same warriors who had once held him captive. His attachment to Nefertari is a matter he has made no effort to conceal.
