Masali System

The Masali System is an agricultural system in Ultramar, where arid worlds hold horticultural domes and water traps that feed the Five Hundred Worlds. It belongs to the group of agricultural worlds known as the Three Planets. Masali and Tarentus follow the same pattern of desert converted to cultivation. Quintarn, the third of these, is not placed in this system on this map.

Ork scavengers took Masali after the Behemoth invasion. During the Plague Wars, Nurgle-rot and the Death Guard later struck its cultivated surface. Eucladus, Martrek V and Quintairn are charted in the same region.

The Masali System remains significant as a source of food drawn from desert land for Ultramar. Unofficial maps assign it to the Ultramar Sub-sector.
