Menazoid Sigma

Menazoid Sigma is the capital world of the Menazoid Clasp, a group of worlds in the Sabbat Worlds, as named in the novel First and Only. It lies in the same region as Menazoid Epsilon, a neighbouring world on which the Ghosts fought.

The Clasp was held by Chaos until the crusade of Warmaster Macaroth retook it. Sigma served as the system capital while Guard armies deployed across the region. Gaunt’s confrontation with Lord General Dravere, Inquisitor Heldane, the Jantine Patricians and the corrupted Iron Men Standard Template Construct (STC) took place at Shrine Target Primaris on Epsilon, not on Sigma.

Menazoid Sigma remains notable as the named capital of the Clasp in First and Only. This map retains the composite Pacificus/Tempestus parent assignment rather than introducing a Sabbat Worlds parent. Epsilon’s STC dossier is not attributed to Sigma, and this entry is kept distinct from that of Sabbatorus.
