New Badab

New Badab is the Maelstrom fortress of Huron Blackheart, used as his base after the death of Badab Primaris. The site consists of a labyrinth of forges and slave-cities. A rebuilt Palace of Thorns stands at its south pole.

The Skull Harvest is fought at New Badab. Verngar later brought the stolen vessel Macragge’s Honour into the fortress’s docks. Roboute Guilliman had by then escaped elsewhere.

New Badab’s standing rests on its role as Blackheart’s fortress, on its forges and slave-cities, and on its association with the Skull Harvest and the arrival of Macragge’s Honour. Guilliman himself was not held there.
