Nimbosa System

The Nimbosa System is an Ultima industrial well on the T'au frontier whose principal world, Nimbosa, became a Second Sphere prize and then a Black Templar crusade. Imperial charts still treat it as a recovered factory rather than a sept colony.

Brightsword's cadres took the manufactories and butchered Vostroyan defenders at Koloth Gorge before the Nimbosa Crusade shoved Imperial Fists and Black Templars back through the orbitals. The Imperium holds the rock again. The T'au still count the system as unfinished business.

The Nimbosa System still matters as a border factory both empires have already paid for in blood. Unofficial fan summaries keep the Ultima parent and refuse to relabel the pin a sept world.
