Nimbosa System

The Nimbosa System is an Ultima industrial system on the T’au frontier, centred on the world of Nimbosa. Nimbosa became a prize of the T’au Second Sphere and was later the object of a Black Templar crusade. Imperial charts continue to record the system as a recovered factory rather than a T’au sept colony.

T’au cadres under Brightsword seized the manufactories of Nimbosa and killed the Vostroyan defenders at Koloth Gorge. The Nimbosa Crusade, in which the Imperial Fists and the Black Templars took part, then drove the T’au back through the planet’s orbital defences. The Imperium holds the world again, while the T’au continue to regard the system as unresolved.

The system’s standing rests on its function as a border factory that both the Imperium and the T’au have contested at heavy cost in casualties. Unofficial summaries retain the Ultima classification and do not relabel the location as a sept world.
