Nusquam Fundumentibus

Nusquam Fundumentibus is an ice world of cavern-hives, with its capital at Primadelving, situated far from the main warp lanes. Its remoteness from those principal routes of warp travel places it outside the usual paths of interstellar traffic.

Cain visited the world on two occasions. During the second visit, a war involving Orks led to the awakening of a Tyranid bioship, which had lain dormant beneath the permafrost since the thirty-fourth millennium (M34).

The world’s standing derives chiefly from these events, in particular the presence of the dormant bioship and its reactivation. Published sources do not state the Segmentum in which Nusquam Fundumentibus lies; this site places it, on an unofficial basis, within the Segmentum Ultima.
