Sanctus Reach

Sanctus Reach is a knight-world star system around the star Sanctus, the setting of Grukk Face-Rippa’s Red Waaagh in the Ultima campaign. It is a system of several worlds rather than a single planet. This atlas classifies it as a sector, while the administrative sub-division is recorded separately under the Sanctus Sub-sector entry.

The Obsidian Glaives of Obstiria were the first to be destroyed. The knight houses of Alaric Prime and Cadian forces then held the Sacred Mountain until Space Wolves arrived under Grimnar, Ragnar, and Krom Dragongaze. Daemons subsequently appeared in the wake of the vortex created by Big Mek Mogrok.

Sanctus Reach is principally known as the campaign of the seventh-edition Ork boxed set. Unofficial summaries retain the combined Ultima parent region and do not merge the Reach with Imperium Sanctus, the realm. They treat sanctus-subsector as a sibling entry.
