Krom Dragongaze

Krom Dragongaze is Wolf Lord of the Drakeslayers, a Fenrisian whose temper is a Chapter problem Grimnar has not quite made into a censure. He wants the fight in front of him. Diplomacy is a rumour he has heard about other Chapters.

The Drakeslayers take that temperament into the line and call it honesty. Krom has come close to breaking with the Great Wolf more than once, then remembered that a Wolf Lord without a Great Wolf is just a warband with a pretty wolf-skull. He stays. The staying is the discipline.

Fenris raises this kind of jarl on purpose. The Allfather's executioners were never meant to be gentle. Krom is what happens when the lesson takes too well and the rest of the Rout has to live with it.
