Sentinel Sector

The Sentinel Sector is a quarantined region of the Segmentum Obscurus, near the Eye of Terror, containing the Sentinel Worlds and xenos pylons. It also includes the gene-seed forge at Hydra Cordatus.

The moons Cocytus I and II share the blight that affects the Hydra Cordatus system. During the Horus Heresy, Perturabo breached the Cadmean Citadel. At a later date, a warsmith serving Honsou took the Imperial Fists tithe that had been stored there.

The sector remains of note as a belt of xenos pylons whose secret vault has already been plundered. Unofficial summaries retain the Segmentum Obscurus as its parent region and list Hydra Cordatus under its own system entry.
