Simia Orichalcae

Simia Orichalcae is a promethium-bearing ice world where a Necron tomb was found beneath a refinery during an Imperial campaign against Orks. The refinery and the caverns beneath it are the principal features recorded of the world.

Cain and the Valhallan 597th went to Simia Orichalcae to fight Orks. In the course of that campaign they discovered the Necron tomb under the refinery. The force flooded the caverns and, on departing, blew a crater in the ice.

No published source assigns Simia Orichalcae to a segmentum. This site places it in Segmentum Pacificus on an unofficial basis. The world’s standing rests on the discovery of the tomb and on the manner of the 597th’s withdrawal.
