Zenta Malhyde

Zenta Malhyde is a location in the Ultima Segmentum where Zygmunt Molotch excavated Enuncia, the language that unmakes things.

Molotch’s excavation at the site led to the investigation that Ravenor pursued against him over the course of a career, with the aim of suppressing his work. The dig therefore served as the starting point of the Ravenor hunt. The source material, however, does not provide Scarus with a fully defined planetary entry.

The site is also linked to Lilean Chase’s Cognitae lineage, which engaged with the same grammar. Zenta Malhyde is significant chiefly as the origin of the Ravenor pursuit. Its position in the far east of the Ultima Segmentum is an approximate map placement, and no Scarus system has been assumed to bring the location closer to the narrative.
