Zygmunt Molotch

Zygmunt Molotch is the Cognitae's favourite linguist, a heretic who treats language like a weapon you can aim at a culture until it comes apart. Ravenor has hunted him across Helican space and still talks about him in the present tense too often.

He wore other people's faces, built cults out of grammar, and used Eustis Majoris as a flect-soaked laboratory. Every time an Inquisitor declared him dead, Molotch had already left a copy of the argument behind.

The last confirmed body did not end the idea. Molotch's real talent was making clever people help him finish their own sentences, then charging them for the lesson.
