Anakwanar Sek

Anakwanar Sek is a Chaos Archon and Magister of the Blood Pact, a major antagonist of the Sabbat Worlds Crusade in the Gaunt’s Ghosts series.

Within the Blood Pact, the Chaos-aligned military force serving the self-styled Warmaster Urlock Gaur, Sek holds the title of Magister, denoting a role that combines military command with ritual and sorcerous authority distinct from purely martial officers of the warband. He is recorded as having served as the ruling overlord of the occupied world of Gereon, where his administration became the focus of a covert resistance effort involving operatives of the Tanith First-and-Only. Accounts of the period describe Sek as a figure whose ambitions repeatedly set him at odds with Gaur’s own authority, even as both nominally pursued the same campaign against the Imperial Sabbat Worlds Crusade commanded by Warmaster Macaroth.
