Brand was Prognosticator of the Silver Skulls 4th Company, Arrun’s measured counterweight through the bloody Gildar Rift war.
Where Arrun struck fast, Brand read the runes and kept secrets from hiding in the company. He had served beside the captain for years on Varsavia’s ice and in the Chapter fleet that claimed the Rift as Silver Skulls ground.
On the strike cruiser Dread Argent he fought the Red Corsairs sorcerer Taemar at the bridge and paid for the kill in wounds. The company still counted him Arrun’s senior adviser when the void battle turned to surface purge.
