Maugan Ra is the Harvester of Souls, Phoenix Lord of the Dark Reapers, the last son of Altansar who walked his craftworld into the Eye and later walked it out again. The maugetar does not do close work. It does endings.
He was inside the Eye so long that other Asuryani treat him as a rumour that learned to aim. When Altansar returned, so did he, and the Dark Reapers remembered why their shrine never needed to be liked, only feared at the right range.
He has fought beside Ynnari and against them depending on the hour. Harvest is the Path. The rest is politics, and Maugan Ra has never been interested in politics that miss.
