The Beati

The Beati is a living saint who manifested on the shrine world of Herodor as an embodiment of Saint Sabbat.

She is recorded as manifesting during the Imperial campaign for Herodor, appearing among the world’s population at a moment of crisis in the war against Archenemy forces contesting the shrine world. Accounts from the crusade hold that her emergence rallied the defending Imperial Guard, Ecclesiarchy adherents, and local faithful, and that she subsequently accompanied elements of the crusade, including the Tanith First-and-Only under Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt, in later actions against forces of Chaos contesting the Sabbat Worlds.

Within the Sabbat Worlds Crusade, the Beati is regarded by many among the faithful as evidence of Saint Sabbat’s continuing intercession on behalf of the Imperium, and her presence is credited with sustaining morale during protracted and costly campaigning.
