The Lith

The Lith is a xenos or warp-derived presence opposed on Cinchare by Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn and his associate Bure.

Accounts of Eisenhorn’s early career place the Lith among the anomalous forces encountered during operations on Cinchare, a world associated in Inquisitorial record-keeping with forbidden lore and xenos contact. The precise nature of the Lith is not consistently established in surviving accounts: some describe it as a xenos organism or intelligence, others as a manifestation with warp-derived qualities, and later tradition has not resolved the distinction. Eisenhorn, accompanied by his associate Bure, is recorded as confronting the Lith during the course of the Cinchare investigation.

The Lith holds no wider standing beyond this episode and is not attested as a recurring figure or organised force within the Imperium’s catalogue of known threats.
