Geard Bure

Geard Bure was the Magos who caged Pontius Glaw’s crystal mind on Cinchare, fought the Lith, and died building Glaw a body.

He worked the Ghost Stars mine as an Adeptus Mechanicus exile who still answered Eisenhorn when the Lith cult and the Pontius crystal threatened to rewrite the dig. Bure built the cage that held Glaw’s intellect and later, under pressure and pride, fabricated a body for the same prisoner.

Glaw repaid the gift with murder. Cinchare keeps Bure as the Magos who chose the machine over the warning, and Eisenhorn as the Inquisitor who arrived too late to stop the handover.
