Cinchare

Cinchare is a mining asteroid in the Ghost Stars, associated with Eisenhorn, that follows a figure-eight orbit and yields rare metals.

Minehead is among the asteroid’s named features. Eisenhorn killed the Lith, a cult active there, together with Magos Geard Bure. Bure confined the crystal mind of Pontius Glaw within the asteroid’s tunnels and later died while constructing a body for the same prisoner.

The location is recorded chiefly for the mine, the Lith, and Bure, who chose the machine over the warning. Cinchare is distinct from Chinchare, a wandering star of the Halo Stars. This site lists Cinchare under its parent, the Ghost Stars, and does not merge the two spellings.
