Pontius Glaw was the charming heretic of House Glaw on Gudrun until Eisenhorn ended the body and inherited the mind in a crystal. The Glaws had wanted the Necroteuch. Pontius wanted a second life and a daemon-king's barque, which is the same hunger with better lighting.
Magos Bure built him a mechanical frame in exchange for daemonhost lore. Pontius murdered his way off Cinchare, wrecked Eisenhorn's household, and chased the Malus Codicium like a man owed an apology.
Barbarisater through the crystal finished the argument. House Glaw is a cautionary dinner story. Pontius is dust in a broken gem.
