Assault on Formal Prime
Warmaster Slaydo took Formal Prime in person during Operation Redrake after Shebol Red-Hand’s Charismites stalled the Guard for eleven weeks in 755.M41. Slaydo had budgeted six weeks. Hive labyrinths and Charismite ferocity pushed the butcher’s bill toward two hundred dead per metre until White Scars broke the defence. Shebol escaped the crucifixes. Formal Prime gave the crusade its first hard foothold toward Balhaut.
