Formal Prime

Formal Prime is a Sabbat hive world that Warmaster Slaydo captured in person during Operation Redrake. The Warmaster took command of the assault after Shebol Red-Hand’s Charismites had stalled the advance of the Guard.

Of the four targets with which Operation Redrake opened, Formal Prime was the most important, and Slaydo therefore directed the assault himself. The fighting in the hive warrens, expected to last six weeks, extended to eleven. The White Scars eventually broke the Charismites, who died on stakes, while Shebol fled.

Onscard and Long Halent had already fallen by that point. The capture of Formal Prime concluded Operation Redrake and turned the crusade towards the Newfound Trailing road to Balhaut.
