The Battle of Cirenholm is a named engagement of the Sabbat Worlds Crusade, fought for the cloud-hive city of Cirenholm on Phantine. Phantine is an aerial hive world of the Khan Group, its habitable spires rising above a permanent toxic cloud layer and linked only by gantry, skybridge, and flyer; when the world fell within the Archenemy’s reach during the Crusade’s advance through the Sabbat Worlds, Cirenholm became one of several hive-cities held by occupying forces loyal to the Anarch’s cause, its refineries and heights fortified against relief from below and above. Imperial efforts to retake the hive are recorded as a distinctly aerial contest, shaped by Phantine’s geography rather than by conventional ground advance.
