Catallus

Catallus is a Warp rift in the Ultima Segmentum, site of the Dark Glass station and the Path of Heaven door that Targutai Yesugei opened for the White Scars. Targutai Yesugei died in opening the door, which allowed the White Scars to reach Terra. This map records Catallus as a planet under Ultima, not as a moon of the Sol system.

Mortarion and Eidolon brought Death Guard and Emperor’s Children forces to the rift. Torghun’s Sagyar Mazan was spent during the Swordstorm, serving as a fuse. Shiban held the void, and Revuel Arvida led the withdrawal through the Webway. Catallus is distinct from the Kalium Gate and is not an inhabited hive. The “planet” is a rift surrounded by a mirror shell, with a tester-throne at its centre.

Catallus remains significant as the named escape rift of the White Scars. Unofficial fan summaries retain the Ultima Segmentum as its parent and classify it as a planet. They also note that Dark Glass was a station over the rift, not a second location.
