Kalium Gate

The Kalium Gate is a Dark Age warp-gate necklace, a chain of stations in the Kalium System, classified on 40k Orrery as a webway location. The catalogue uses that category because it has no more specific term for a man-made door into the Warp. The Kalium Gate is neither an Eldar gate nor a planet.

During the Horus Heresy, the Lion attempted to reactivate the gate, and Perturabo wrecked it. The White Scars later staged a feint at the site so that Jaghatai Khan could pursue the Navigator Achelieux elsewhere. The Emperor’s Children converted Void Dock Theta-3 into a killing ground. The Path of Heaven records these events.

The Kalium Gate remains notable as a named Warp gate of the Heresy period that the White Scars did not in fact require for their operation. Unofficial summaries retain the kalium-system parent and the webway classification. They do not treat the entry as a Craftworld portal or as a Sol-system counterpart of the Dark Glass.
